FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you've got a burning question about The Hoops Factory we've got you covered with this go-to list of frequently asked questions to help you find your fit.

1. How do I make a booking for the shooting machines? (Coming Soon! Casual Shooting available for $10 during opening hours! No booking needed)

The Hoops Factory uses the GymMaster App for booking and managing sessions. Everything you need is centralised here, so you can manage your schedule: book and cancel with ease.

Simply download GymMaster via the Apple Store or Google Play, create a log in and away you go.

Download the App here.

2. Can I use the Shooting Bays casually? Or do I need a membership?

Casual shooting is available in 30 or 60-minute blocks during staffed hours only.

If you're a regular a membership to The Hoops Factory is a cost effective way to ensure you get your shooting sessions in!

3. Can I make a recurring booking for a Shooting Bay?

Unfortunately you can't make a recurring booking for a shooting machine, as new books become available 2 weeks in advance.

4. Can I bring a friend to my Shooting Bay session?

Yes. Team work makes the dream work. However, be mindful that the maximum number of players per bay is 3.

5. How long can I be in the facility before and after my session?

The Hoops Factory tag provided to you when signing up for your membership, will only work 15 minutes before of your scheduled session time. You can wait in the reception area upstairs to allow active sessions time to vacate.

It is important you finish your session on time out of courtesy to the next session. Failure to vacate on time will incur additional fees.

If you want to hang around and watch other sessions, you are welcome to from the spectator lounge upstairs.

6. Can I make a recurring booking for casual Court Hire?

Please email admin@thehoopsfactory.com.au to speak to one of our staff members about your needs for court hire.

7. Can I bring people to watch my Shooting/Court Hire/Coaching session?

Spectators are welcome. There is a dedicated space for people to watch the action either on the mezzanine overlooking the courts, or on the benches on either side of the half court!

8. Is there a cafe/food and beverage on site?

Cold water is readily available next to the seating, just to the left as you are walking onto the main court, we also have cold drinks available upstairs, however, the facility is not currently serviced with food. However, The Hoops Factory is conveniently located near the Gilbert's Fresh Food Market and the new Coles precinct, so spectators and players can access snack options close by.

Please be aware that food and drink (other than water) is not permitted on or around the courts.
